KESTEREN and ALGINET – The Spanish trailer manufacturer Guillén Desarrollos Industriales S.L.U. and the Dutch company D TEC Trailers B.V. have signed a cooperation agreement this summer. In concrete terms, it means that Guillén will become D TEC''s official representative in Spain and D TEC will represent Guillén''s interests in the Netherlands. Guillén is primarily known for its curtain-sider and boxtrailers; D TEC specializes in the development and production of container trailers.This cooperation will allow both companies to extend their product range. “Without any extra investment costs either,” explains Gerrit van Vlastuin (general manager of D TEC) animatedly. The familiar product names and reliable product quality will be unaffected. “We chose Guillén because their production methods are like ours and they look at product innovation in the same way,” says Van Vlastuin.High-quality serviceDespite the economic crisis, the agreement between D TEC and Guillén has created another strong and reliable party on the transport market.
